Who I work with

Sound familiar?

  • What used to work has stopped working, and nobody can tell you why.
  • You're back up, back down, back up. You're tired of being a yo-yo.
  • You've been told it's just your age, and to be careful.
  • Your own training is the first thing to go when the week gets busy.

You don't need another reset.

You need the few decisions that matter for your body, and someone who notices when things start to drift.

Fat loss after 40

Your best physical years don't have to be behind you.

Most plans aimed at women over 40 ask for less food and more cardio. That often leaves you tired, hungry and no stronger.

I start somewhere else. We find what's wasting your effort and take it out. Then we build around a few focused strength sessions and food you enjoy.

What I look at first

  • Strength training. A few focused sessions a week, at the gym or at home. You'll learn what to do and why.
  • Food you can keep eating. Built around meals you like, with dinners out planned in. No cutting out whole food groups.
  • Sleep, energy and recovery. Perimenopause and menopause can change all three. We plan around how you're feeling week to week.
  • Your blood work. We run it at the start, so the plan is built on what's going on in your body.
  • What we track. Photos, measurements, your weight trend and your strength. The scale on its own can mislead you.

What you're really getting back

Fat loss is part of it. The bigger part is feeling like yourself again, and doing things you'd quietly written off. For some clients that's a first pull-up. For others it's going back to a sport they'd given up.

The Remove To Improve method

How coaching works, in three steps.

  1. Find what's holding you back

We go through your goals, your schedule, your training history and the food you enjoy, and we run comprehensive blood work at the start.

You get a clear picture of what's really in the way.

  2. Remove it. Build what works.

We cut what isn't helping. Then we build your training and nutrition around your goals and your real week, at the gym or at home.

You get a plan you can follow, and you know exactly what to do.

  3. Adjust as you go. Keep progressing.

Regular check-ins and honest feedback. When work gets busy or you travel, we adjust the plan. You don't start again.

You get results that keep coming, with someone in your corner.

Questions

Good questions to ask before you book.

Can I lose fat during perimenopause or menopause?
Yes. Sleep, energy and recovery can change, which is often why a plan that used to work stops working. The basics of fat loss still apply. We adjust your training, food and recovery around how you're feeling, and review it at every check-in.
Do you coach women as well as men?
Yes. I coach men and women at different ages and very different starting points. What they have in common is that they're willing to put in consistent effort, and they want that effort to finally go in the right direction.
I'm new to lifting weights. Is that a problem?
No, beginners are welcome. Your plan is built from where you are now. You'll learn what to do and why, and the plan progresses as you do. Experience matters far less than being ready to put in steady effort.
Will I have to follow a strict diet?
No. Your nutrition is built around food you like and a routine you can live with. If you want to change your body, something about how you eat will usually need to change too. We focus on the few changes that matter most for you, not cutting out whole food groups.
How many days a week will I need to train?
There's no set number. It depends on your goals, how much time you genuinely have and how well you're recovering. For a lot of busy people that means a few focused sessions a week, not something every day. It still takes consistency. It just shouldn't take over your life.
How much does coaching cost?
There's more than one coaching option, and the right one depends on your goals and the level of support you need. On the call, once I understand what you're looking for, I'll tell you exactly what any option I recommend costs before you decide anything. There's no obligation to sign up.
